We use USPS to ship all orders. You will receive a shipping confirmation as soon as your order is prepared for shipping and ready for carrier pick-up.

For all orders shipping outside the US, international tracking info may not be available. Our standard shipping times for our international orders are roughly 14 business days, but could take up to 21 business days. We do our best to get your products shipped out as quickly as possible, but are still at the mercy of the shipping company once your package leaves our hands.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

International Shipping Transit Times:

  • Due to the uncertain nature of USPS and its worldwide partner parcel delivery services, as well as the customs officers used in this low-cost shipping method, all USPS delivery times are estimates and can vary wildly based on your country’s customs offices. We include the appropriate paperwork, but sometimes things just take an inexplicably long time to clear customs. Unfortunately, there is absolutely nothing we can do to hurry this process along.

  • For day-specific, MUCH faster delivery, please use the expedited delivery options. Additionally, any customs duties/fees/VAT imposed by governmental authorities or local carriers shall be the customer’s responsibility (contact us with questions or concerns on this point).

  • Please note: Being that Artisan Obscura uses a shipping service, it shall not be responsible for loss, damage or theft related to any order shipped internationally via USPS. Orders are insured, and claims can be made after 40 calendar days have passed from the date of shipment. No refunds shall be offered on international shipping fees/product charges due to delays in transit on merchandise shipped via USPS before this period has passed. For guaranteed delivery dates and package insurance covering loss, theft, and damage, please use the expedited delivery options.

  • Upgraded via USPS Priority International: 3-7 days (customs dependent, NOTE: customs delays are still possible with USPS priority shipments. They happen less often than with economy/first class, but DO still occur occasionally, particularly in times of high demand).

We can ship via UPS or FedEx upon special request. A quote will be obtained for your package and will be shipped promptly upon your approval of the shipping charges. 

DUTIES AND TAXES

You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from Artisan Obscura, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties, and fees that are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. You should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
