If you want the alignment of your engraved button to be as accurate as possible, this is just what you need. Thread one of these naked threads onto your camera and mark which direction the front of your your camera is (with sharpie/marker). Please note, each kit accounts for one engraved button. The thread will be the actual one used to make your soft release button.

Kit includes:

• Both a FAT and REG versions of thread, along with an o-ring to test fit. To find the alignment of your camera, thread the proper-fitting thread onto your camera with the provided o-ring. *Proper fitment requires the o-ring to be compressed between the bottom of the thread base and the top of the camera shutter trigger. If there is a gap between the o-ring and the base of the thread when using the FAT thread, that means the thread size is too wide and you should change to the REG thread. If the thread doesn’t catch when fully inserted with an o-ring and it keeps spinning loosely, the thread is too narrow and you should change to the FAT thread.*
